It’s beautiful down there, we have friends who live in Front Royal.
My New Hampshire relatives used wood for heating, but I don’t think exclusively. But a couple of them lived in a house that predated the American Revolution, fireplaces only on the ground floor. It was something to think about the folks living there back in the day. I guess they had the stocking caps and the bed warmers and all that stuff.
