I think I got the BA5 as I got it very recently. I had been vaccinated, but did not get my poison booster.
It was a nasty virus, like a “mini” flu. Sore throat was nasty and so were the chills and aches. I wanted to sleep a lot. But I was over it in 3 days. Felt a little tired, and now I have the lingering wet cough ...like I always get with bronchitis or anything else.
Other than that, it was a big nothing-burger. Never ran a fever. Was outside working in my garden by day 2 and I’m 59. I know younger folks who fared much worse.
Three of 10 people in my office recently had Covid - all were fully vaccinated and boosted. One guy had a 101 degree temperature for two days and that was it. Although he tested negative, he assumes the home test was false because his live-in gf tested positive — twice. The other two has sniffles, a sore throat, and fatigue. No temperature. Basically a cold.
