Oh the GOPE Party boys on FR are going to be angry their chosen one was rejected and rejected with prejudice by the base they hate so much. Some will be silent and will not support the nominee and work against the conservative nominee. Some will actually tell you they will not support the nominee because of the Trump or conservative nature of the candidate, but they damned well expect you to vote and give money to every dog turd they nominate. That ship has sailed.

The GOPE/GOP Vichy will not surrender, the GOP is their private club and they will have to be dragged out like rats from their positions of power in the GOP.

Pure semantics and why we are stuck with RINO. I live in Maryland. The democrats have actually increased their super majority under Hogan and they laugh when over-riding his vetoes.

If you like republican governors with little to no power and delight in bashing a President who gave us things like the recent Supreme Court rulings, then by all means support the RINO for a meaningless word(republican) because neither of the two governors you mentioned would have appointed these type of justices.

Larry Hogan has been the most worthless governor of my fifty years in Maryland, unless of course, you happened to be a democrat…Hogan was a puppet brought out for leftist Sunday shows and he is not only humiliated, but politically dead

Cox may or may not win in the General election but the Democrats (and RINOs) can see that Trump is still a power to reckon with.

——

100% correct…We have to clean out the Hogans.

change is coming.

Yes, you are right. A sea change is in progress. Because it is so large, it seems slow and gradual, but the waters are moving and the earth is shifting.

True. MD. is very liberal. I was there in summer 69 as Fort Hollibird (sp) was near Dundalk. Back then it was tolerable. I never could stand the fags in MI. I was there for an MI course 9301 MOS. I liked my 31542 much better. The east coast is mostly lib.

I had the misfortune of living in northern Prince Georges County just outside the beltway in the late 1980s. Starting out as a GS-7 working for the federal government, I couldn’t afford any better location than that.

I left the area (and the entire state) in the early 1990s. PG was bad then, though my area was kind of populated by what they used to call “yuppies”. Not long after I left PG County went totally to hell and I’m very happy I got out when I did.

I wasn’t interested in politics at that time, but even in that era everything that was in the vicinity of the beltway was ultra-liberal. But in those days the more upscale ultra-liberals in Montgomery County still sometimes voted RINO (like for Connie Morella in CD-8) instead of 100% nutzoid Democrat like they all do now.

keep in mind a lot of the +33% was due to a lot of ballot harvesting, etc.

So the Republican party is doomed? Spreading a lot of joy around. New to Free Republic?

"He’ll need enough votes around the state to overcome Baltimore City and PG County. It will not be easy."

Not just Ballimer city and PG county...
Montgomery county, Baltimore county, and DC (whose residents are bused, in hundreds of buses, to MD polling places) will all vote for the communist...

Then there are the hundreds-of-thousands of MIVs who will also be voting...

Maryland is a hell hole communist ridden dump. Full of gimme dats and white guilt ridden boobs. Southern MD is all gummit workers that want to keep their cushy jobs and benefits. Tough state to overturn. Much of MD however is conservative and I’m sure they’ve about had it. Perhaps, as in VA, even some of the libs see what they’ve done after years of voting anti values, American.

You are telling us there is hope for Maryland whom we have written off and yet the Great State of Maryland voted for Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Ronald W. Reagan is the first Republican I have ever voted for and I continue to vote republican since the DemonRats are getting worse and worse.
