Perhaps the Republicans in office have not pushed the issue because they know Trump is wrong (lied?). See my Comment #61. Europe has committed at least $29 billion, and so far US has spent/disbursed $43 billion of $54 voted on. so, less than twice as much, NOT 10 times. Also, I presume a lot of their Military Industrial Complex buddies/lobbyists are getting good contracts being all spent here in the US for salaries and jobs and subcontractors for about 1/2 of US money approved. Remember election campaign contributions?
Your numbers are far different than those I am hearing and I will do some research. I am pretty familiar with NATO and how it works and it is usually the American people that pay for “our” checks and “theirs”.
I could be wrong but its easy to believe we get played like suckers because that is the story of NATO.
