Ukraine's first lady, Olena Zelenska, is in the US for a series of high-level meetings and an address to Congress.
Her visit comes four months after her husband, President Volodymyr Zelensky, made a virtual speech to Congress, pressing for more military equipment.
Ms Zelenska met Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday and is due to hold talks with her counterpart Jill Biden on Tuesday, the White House said.
She is due to deliver remarks to lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
Ms Zelenska has no official portfolio in the Ukrainian government. But after nearly five months of Russia's war in Ukraine, Kyiv is keen to seek more military aid and political backing from the US.

I’ve been wondering why Zelensky doesn’t ever leave Ukraine, even for a very short trip to Warsaw or a relatively short trip to Berlin. After all, he’s proven to be an excellent actor and could bring in TONS OF MONEY.
Yet he stays put. I wonder if the local ‘enforcers’ of the Neocons, the Azovs, have a virtual gun to his head and he’s afraid to to leave or, more likely, not permitted to leave?

They are thinly veiled now, but when Putin’s Russia finally takes a hard turn on its Jews (and judging from the historical experience looks like they very likely will - no choice, as they will have to find internal scapegoats to shift the blame for the many economic and military failures), those same characters will come out of the woodwork more, because the Protocols will now be the official line of their Russian FSB handlers.
And when they do, they will hopefully start to get zotted from this forum.
