What I am concerned about with Ron DeSantis is contracting “Scott Walker syndrome” An influential conservative first term, a validating re election, then getting Presidential fever and mailing it in after not getting the nomination. His lackluster second term ended with defeat in 2018

DeSantis spent three terms as a member of the US House of Representatives, he has seen first hand how national politics plays out.
DeSantis has the personality of a happy bull. Trifle with him at your own risk. Gavin Newsom is finding that out.
I don’t understand what happened to Walker. Maybe the time he took campaigning in the primary took his focus off his job in Wisconsin and he lost his mojo. It was a terrible thing and ruined a promising career.
