2) As far as the GOP is concerned, they're too busy doing their own trades to get out after Pelosi.

Well, they did pass the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act a decade ago. Of course, it doesn’t mean anything and nobody would ever bother actually enforcing it, because they’re all in on it and collecting mountains of cash.
