How sad...I got to see Barishkinov in Bolshoi Ballet in about 1989...it was fantastic, unbelievable. Reducing world to 3rd world levels is so stupid.

Lucky you! I never got the chance to see the master in person. Watching him dance on film was like watching a man defy gravity.
