I’m a combat vet and don’t want my 14 year old anywhere NEAR that s**t-show.

This has been my sentiment. My grandfather served and his brother served in WWII, my dad served at the tail end of the Vietnam and then retired when I was 15. My brother did 10 years in the AF, my cousin another 6, with another cousin in the Navy. I did four active in the AF, followed by another four in the Army National Guard. Thats a decent bit of family history in the military.
But as for my kids, no way would I sign the papers for them to join with this current nonsense. And military families are usually easy recruits.

I was furious with my brother for allowing my nephew to sign up for the army after graduating high& school this year. Thank God he was turned down thanks to a kidney problem he was born with. They are reviewing his medical records now and they might still take him. I wouldn't want any kid to serve under the scum that run our government and military. It hurts to say that.
