Sad that we have to say "we think we know what she means" instead of her putting a coherent thought together before opening her mouth. A self-inflicted wound on her part and ammunition for media types to use against other Republican candidates, e.g. "Do you agree with Congressman Greene that all adoptive parents are fake?"
Why do we not recognize that Trump does the same kind of thing constantly? Foot-in-mouth disease, or shooting from the hip.

I find it very revealing that Newsweek chooses not play the video of MTG herself making the comment - but instead offers a partial quote with zero context.
The alleged insult to adoptive parents was made on her TV show, so we know video exists - yet they choose not to show it.
Could it be that the video would debunk their whole narrative by making it perfectly clear that she was NOT referring to normal adoptive couples, but rather to homosexual adoptive parents, who are indeed fake?
Conversely, if they did have actual footage of her insulting normal adopting parents, can you imagine them not using it against her?
