We don’t live in a free country anymore.

Never did. We have always lived under the jurisdiction
of some ruler be it family, gov’t, society, religion, etc.
Granted over time the rulers/rules have changed.
Freedom always has constraints. America’s brand of it the freedom to choose our chains, but now we’re losing even that.
