I don't think its co-opting, if "my body, my choice" truly means having a decision over bodily autonomy.

And the retort that not getting the jab effects other people is false, given the FACT that the jab does not prevent a person from contracting Covid and spreading it, but "lessens severity". "My body, my choice" still applies in this case.

But we're dealing with Leftists and/or mentally ill people, and for them, whatever phrase is convenient for the argument of the moment applies, even when it is shown to be hypocritical later.

Is alleged to "lessen severity". Considering the track record of the people making that assertion, I don't think we should credit that without serious evidence.
