That depends on what the author owes loyalty to.
Her St. Louis Dispatch bio says "Center-right, RN, mom..." but she retweets Adam Kinziger, Liz Cheney and Evan McMullin, describes herself in a tweet as a "public RINO", is an avid follower of the January 6 committee, frequently retweets their "breaking news", congratulated Chris Murphy (D-CT) on his gun control bill, and retweets "Republicans for Mark Kelly".
Now, to be fair, unlike most of these "Republicans", her writings and her tweets do not have a heavy slant towards foreign wars on behalf of alien people, but she doesn't have a Wikipedia page and I don't belong to Linkedin, so a quick search doesn't tell much about her background or other loyalties.
She does not appear to be married to Steve Schmidt.
