Impossible? It happened here in the USA and in the Midwest of all places. “Big Harpe” , of Cave-In-Rock fame, head was displayed near Henderson Kentucky on a public street after execution. The Harpe brothers were cutthroats and serial killers who hung out with other scum waylaying , raping, murdering and robbing flatboat traffic on the Mississippi and other rivers in the area.
As I get older I see less wisdom in the law we have that punishments cannot in any way be cruel or unusual…I think they only need to be just.
PS Big Harpe wasn’t pilloried and hung but Simply shot then his head cut off and displayed on a Pike, the others were my ideas.

Illinois has red flag laws, and it was used against this guy a couple of years ago when he was threatening people. But there's a limit as to what the laws can do.
It’s up to $1,481,600.
It goes back to the fact that criminals do not obey laws because they want to commit crimes. A red flag law might have stopped him from buying a gun legally in his State, but it can’t stop him from obtaining a weapon illegally.
We are finding out now that this guy had other run ins with the law and also made threats to kill people before . He has many freakish videos out there too.
All of that should have been a red flag. But is wasn’t.

That precious little boy is one of the most adorable kids I’ve ever seen. Glad he has good family around him. I hope for him to one day have a wonderful wife & kids. No

I’m sure the poster meant it was “awesome” that so many were willing to donate to help this child and his remaining family as a result of this tragedy. At least that is the interpretation I had of that comment.

The monster who did this would love to see pictures of his victims. He’s evil - he rejoices in the misery and pain he caused. The best thing to put in his cell would be pictures of happy loving families enjoying life together... Christmas - Easter - barbecues, birthday parties...
