Maybe. But both Trump and DeSantis are polarizing figures. When DeSantis does run for President the left will try to demonize him like they did Trump.
This is a question of electors for the State Florida not being counted if both are from the same state.

Still intemperate in his caustic personal remarks …that cost ALL of us. Look I didn’t agree with Colin Powell’s politics but Trump issued a public insult before the Generals grieving family could bury him. Just an example of Trump’s personal ego and refusal to keep a lid on it, over our best interests.
DeSantis is the ONLY political figure to take a stand against giving that Big Pharma nightmare “ beautiful vaccine” to babies. For that ALONE he has my confidence.

It is a dream ticket. But a more effective nail in the democrats would be for Trump to select a high profile Hispanic female with conservative chops. That would likely consolidate Hispanics into the Republican fold and maybe chase out some rinos in the process.

Trump has already proved (twice) that a majority of voters want him as POTUS, and he has proved he can deliver on his promises. Regardless of DeSantis’ undeniable potential, he has yet to prove it.
Besides, stealing the 2020 election was the crime of the century, and there is only one way to make it right - give Trump his well-earned second term and let MAGA send a message to the deep state: we are coming for you.
Like I said before DeSantis is running a state it is FAR FAR different being up against the corrupt intel agencies and the ENTIRE DEEP STATE!! We ALL thought Bush was a GREAT conservative Governor which he was THEN went to DC and became a swamp creature he DID NOT have the fight in his belly to go up against the DEEP STATE!! Trump is Trump his remarks maybe brash HOWEVER they are also TRUTH, if you can’t handle the heat get the hell out of the kitchen, Trump has brought LIGHT to all of us, his brash comments brought to light the utter corruption of our republic his comments brought ALL of the cockroaches OUT for all to see!! As far as General Powell goes he stood in front of the entire nation and LIED about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq sent our men and women into Iraq and the Middle East for 20+ years Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11!! Our generals today are nothing more than political HACKS!!
