“The survey found that overall, 49 per cent of Americans agreed that they ‘more and more feel like a stranger in my own country.’”

I don’t feel like a stranger in my own country. I feel like the people ruling my country are strangers in my own country.

Great perspective. However, personally, I do feel like a stranger in my own country. Sometimes I can't believe what I see or hear and that it's being done or said by my 'so-called' fellow citizens.

I don’t feel like a stranger, but every time I shop at Costco I feel like I’m in a foreign country! On a weekday the ratio is probably 1 white person out of 5. On the weekends it is probably 1 out of 20.

Of course it doesn’t help when the entire family with mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and 5 kids is walking s-l-o-w-l-y in front of you examining every single thing on the shelves for their weekly outing.
