Are some people really shocked to discover others do not hang out with people of different races? Do they deliberately seek out a “black friend” in order to gain woke cred? I could not care less that everyone in my life is lily white. Don’t feel like I’m missing a thing.

Besides, they mostly hate us. Or haven't they noticed?
Back in the day, we called them "liberal points". We knew this ultra-liberal couple who had this unbearable friend who was a complete ahole to everybody who knew him. He was surly, a compulsive liar, disrespectful to everbody he met.
But he could do no wrong in their eyes because he was gay and black. Triple backflip liberal points for them both and they would eat sht from him as fast as he could shovel it. They were so proud to showcase him at parties.
