In California, and across the country, they are eliminating the SAT as a factor, because it’s “elitist”.
The truth is that it’s a check on crap schools that hand out high grades to favored groups. They blow the SAT in disproportionate numbers, so it had to go.
Recently MIT re-instated the SAT since they were getting students who had um “problems”. Like not being able to do fractions, even though they had stellar GPAs.
But that didn’t stop Gavin “Don’t Call Me Stoopid” Newsome from killing it. PS, he basically flunked high school cuz “dyslexic” but ended up at Santa Clara U on a baseball “scholarship”.
So we have achieved perfect Idiocracy in California.
The University of Chicago was one of the last schools who spoke out for free speech, and that was not all that long ago (a few years ago they made a declaration on it; forgot the cirumstances). Looks like they lost their spine too.
The more they explicitly blame rank and file whites for every ill under the sun, the more whites will start acting in their own interests as an ethnic group and create a parallel society (ie national divorce). I mean how much more sand are they going to take getting kicked in their faces?
Good points all. IMO, “Political Science” is a garbage discipline, and should not exist. Graduate level “schools of government” should not exist either. The fact that they do is damning of both academia and whatever collection of bureaucrats and beltway bandits hire these people..

If you didn’t have at least pre-calculus in high school and do well in it, you could NOT handle MIT!! AP Calculus would be better!!!! It’s first-year physics with calculus (required for everyone) that’s the stumbling-block!!!! “Physics is hard!”
There are quit a few other hard courses at MIT beyond freshman year, depending on your major. One cannot get through MIT successfully on just “wokeness”, even thought the current MIT President requires “diversity training’ for all undergraduates. PHOOEY!!!!

If it was racist for white Kyle Rittenhouse to shoot at three white men trying to kill him... you might be a Democrat.
If you're as sure today that global warming gives us 9 years left to live as you were 20 years ago that the north pole will be ice free in 5 years... you might be a Democrat.
If you yelled "#MeToo!" just as passionately as you fussed at Christians for being fuddy-duddy over the sexual torture movie 50 Shades of Gray... you might be a Democrat.
They may be worthless, but if the Democrats have anything to do with it they will be "free".
Well, maybe not exactly free. They'll be paid for by the taxpayers just like Democrats are now working to mandate "free" federal travel funding for pregnant women to travel to States that still give legal abortions.
That federal money-pot is bottomless if it is destined for a "good" purpose. We know what those purposes are, don't we?
A college degree will soon become a very expensive participation trophy. After that it’s reform or bankruptcy and the leftists will never permit reform.
“Idiocracy” had it backwards. It had society’s breakdown as starting from the bottom when it actually will begin from crap like this. It’s going to start at colleges and work it’s way down. Eventually college students won’t even be able to think their way out of a wet paper bag.
Yep, pre-meritocracy the elite schools were basically networking associations for the descendants of colonial-era settlers - many of those same people then abolished quotas and used the SAT for admissions which cleared the way for Jews and later Asians to thrive at said institutions. As a white gentile at U of Chicago in the 1990s, I have to say all of my Jewish and Asian classmates earned it (as did I).
When universities turn out trash we already have a solution. Bring in more foreign workers to fill needs and Democrats love that and Republicans won’t fight it.
Leave unqualified useless US college grads to welfare or government make-work programs that have a whole mass of people ready to riot when the next BLM/Antifa disruption happens. This is part of the plan to bring in the Marxist US of the future. OH, and legalize more drugs to help with boredom till they can burn and loot for social justice.
