Well that’s curiouser. In recent years it seems that numerous faith based college level campuses have closed down and sold. When the Lutheran school in Portland, OR closed , even tho, they had something over 5,000 enrollment, it started looking to me like the younger management was looking for ways to cash out. That campus has been sold to part of the Oregon school system.
Sounds like the local folks have their work cut out for them?
This place was ridiculously expensive and catered to wealthiest as a safe and secure place to send their kids. Greensboro is an incredibly boring city. The nearest hotel to the school was 15 min. away unless one wanted to stay at the airport maybe 5 min. closer.
And the nearest food and shopping was 1/3 mile away. McDonalds, Aldis, Target, subway, burger joint and some other chain food. For the kids living at the school and having to walk it was like being in a small town with limited choices.
I am guessing the kids complained enough to give it a bad rap and enrollment cratered.
