This was judicial restraint - acknowledging and affirming the limits of judicial power is the very definition of judicial restraint. Roe v. Wade itself was certainly the farthest thing from judicial restraint. So according to this opinion, "judicial restraint" is to uphold judicial overreach. Word salad, indeed.

Agree. Judicial ACTIVISM would have been declaring that life begins at conception and therefore abortion has to be covered under murder laws. Let the states decide that...
