Yep. I own a small business under 50 employees. Politics and religion are the big 2 that will draw the bosses attention to you. Any hot button current event I don’t even want discussed in the store unless it’s good news we can all celebrate. I think 3rd would be using company resources and time to bad mouth or disparage the company or the boss. Elon just explained to the twitterverse what happens when you do that.

I don’t think that a woman who has had an abortion should be allowed to hold any public office. I don’t want a person that can casually murder an unborn child to have any kind power in society whatsoever.

It would be interesting to know if Substantive due process was even mentioned?

Even the grand and glorious Maher doesn’t understand what Substantive due process is.

I didn’t know, so I looked “Substantive due process” up at Wiki. Interesting.

“...substantive due process protects individuals against majoritarian policy enactments that exceed the limits of governmental authority: courts may find that a majority’s enactment is not law and cannot be enforced as such, regardless of whether the processes of enactment and enforcement were actually fair.[2]”

Might go a long way in derailing the new red flag law.

In a related matter, I received a final warning from FB about posts coming from one of my websites presenting “false or misleading” information about Covid vaccines. Since FB is a part of marketing for one of my businesses, I can’t afford to get kicked off, so I discontinued automatically posting from the news aggregator site.

Oh well . . .

“So Meta/Facebook is censoring and canceling its own employees?”

Guess that Meta doesn’t want to lose more stock value in the middle of a Bear Market / Recession.

More true than not,”go woke, go broke”.

My LinkedAbortion feed is 1/3 abortion postings.

Time for the virtue signalers to be dropped into customer-facing situations where the customer disagrees with their political opinions.

“Maybe it’s because I few up in the 80s, but I NEVER raise abortion, guns, drug decriminilization, or anything political at work”

I can’t imagine it either, except maybe with a close coworker who was of like mind.

David Venable at QVC has a Coffee Meeting on one day of the week, I forget which day, and it was always through “FACEBOOK”, “META” OR whatever it is called.

This week Venable said that the Meeting would no longer be through facebook, but through QVC.

Now, I don’t know how many visitors that would mean not going to FB, but QVC’s audience is quite. sizable.

I was very happy to learn that.

Yep, these people need to understand that there’s no free lunch on this issue. If they want to be pro-abortion, fine, go ahead, but there’s a penalty to pay. If they want to alienate and dismiss their pro-life customers/clients, don’t expect them to be customers/clients forever.
