MANY years ago, my family lived in the Santa Barbara, California area.
We took a trip one weekend to northern California.
In the Bay area, there was a tall sign near the freeway which said “Sambo’s.”
Next to that Sambo’s sign, there was another tall sign for a gas station.
That sign said, “Fast Gas.”
I thought it was hilarious, “Sambo’s” and “Fast Gas” tall signs right next to one another.
I wish I had a camera.
From listening to some of my peers, I suspect they weren’t expecting this decision, at least not *now*. Seemed like a lot of “pickup” protesting came together yesterday afternoon.
Today may be different.
I am trying my hand at a lo-carb lime cheesecake, today. Amazingly, you ‘bake’ it in a crock pot! Still not convinced that’s the answer, but we’ll see.
We have been being so good on our low-carb ‘lifestyle change’ we deserve a treat. Beau is down 20#, I’m down 11#, so something is working! :)
