I’m hearing in opinion pieces that the fringe is the only place to be in order to offer a clear distinction, but I’m thinking that the place where the voters are may be the best place to be in trying times. I don’t think the voters want more chaos.
Candidates who have an economic plan that actually makes sense will probably do well. Candidates that focus on running to the fringe on social issues (like being the anti-ist of anti-abortion) will probably not do so well. Time will tell.
One thing for sure though, the GOP had better invest heavily in getting out their voters.
In order to get voters to the polls, they have to give a compelling reason to vote form them, HOWEVER THE CURRENT GOP IS HOSTILE TO THE POLICIES THEIR VOTERS WANT IMPLEMENTED.
