TUCKER CARLSON (HOST): One of the political opponents the January 6th Committee is targeting is a man called Jeff Clark. He was Assistant Attorney General during the previous administration. Before dawn on Wednesday, which is to say, yesterday, a large group of armed federal agents wearing body armor with weapons raided Jeff Clark's home. They dragged him into the street in his pajamas. Now, what did Jeff Clark do wrong? Was he selling fentanyl? Was he human trafficking on the Mexican border? No. Jeff Clark did not commit any crime. What he did wrong was calling for an investigation into voter fraud.
We are happy to have Jeff Clark join us now. He's a senior fellow at the Center for Renewing America. Jeff, thanks so much for joining us. This is an almost -- I mean, this is Soviet account, really. So, tell us what happened and why.
JEFF CLARK (GUEST): It is and good to be here, Tucker. So, yesterday at about, just before 7 A.M., there was loud banging at my door, insistent banging. So I just rushed down as fast as I could. I, you know, quickly figured out, you know, that there were agents there. I opened the door and asked for the courtesy to be able to put some pants on and was told no, you've got to come outside. So I came outside, they swept the house. Eventually, they let me go back inside and put the pants on. But then, you know, by my count at one point, you know, 12 agents and two Fairfax County police officers went into my house, searched it for three and a half hours. They even brought along something, Tucker, I've never seen before or heard of, a electronic sniffing dog. And they took all of the electronics from my house. And you know, I don't blame the agents, I think what you're talking about in terms of weaponization is really about who's pointing the agents and telling them what to do, Tucker.
And, worse, the GOP is disinclined to do anything about it - are often key figures in the perversions.
I responded to a message from Mitch McConnell today urging me to help finance the difficult fight for the GOP to regain the Senate. I responded that that seemed pointless since HE surrendered the Senate without a fight in 2020. He refused to challenge the fraudulent Georgia Senate elections and then allowed a new runoff under the same fraudulent election system.
I also responded to a PDJT message today that urged the truth to come out about the SCOTUS leak of the abortion draft document. I told him we already know who leaked the document: Chief Justice John Roberts... which explains why a two hour investigation has taken weeks. Roberts is a Janus, a two-faced betrayer.
That cabal involves both parties.
This had better not happen to ME!
I don’t wear pajamas! (or anything else, to bed)
Still waiting to know what was he actually arrested for? Why was his place searched? He also mentioned that others around the country were rated the same day. Who were they? And why?
The Fulton County fake "water leak" and subsequent videos alone prove it.
Sean Hannity is full of $hit.
Federal agents searched a former top Justice Department official’s home and seized records from key Republicans in at least five states linked to Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, in what were clear signs that authorities are ramping up their investigation of associates of the former president.
Authorities on Wednesday searched the Virginia home of Jeffrey Clark, who was known at the Justice Department to champion Trump’s false claims of election fraud. Agents in recent days also served subpoenas on the Republican Party chairmen of Arizona, Nevada and Georgia, three states that went for President Joe Biden and where Trump allies created slates of “alternate electors” intended to subvert the vote. And Republicans in two other states — Michigan and Pennsylvania — disclosed they had been interviewed by the FBI.
The Justice Department appears to be escalating its probe of pro-Trump efforts to overturn the 2020 election, which culminated in the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. The disclosures of law enforcement activity came as the U.S. House committee investigating the riot said it had new evidence of Trump’s efforts and his knowledge that he had no legal basis to try to overturn the election.
The committee’s Thursday hearing focused on Trump’s desire to install Clark atop the Justice Department in his administration’s last days. The reason for the search of Clark’s home was not immediately clear and it was not known what information agents were searching for. The person who confirmed the search was not authorized to discuss it by name and spoke on condition of anonymity.
...In an interview Thursday night on Fox News Channel, Clark alleged the timing of the search warrant was “highly politicized” and questioned why his home was searched one day before the congressional hearing.
“It looks highly coincidental and ... I just don’t believe in coincidences,” he said.
Both the committee and federal authorities are probing the use of replacements for duly chosen electors in seven battleground states that voted for Biden. Trump and his allies furiously pressured authorities in those states to replace Biden’s electors with ones for him on specious or nonexistent allegations that his victory was stolen.

maybe this has something to do with the timing...
Yeah, this is Stalinist,” replied Carlson. “At some point, somebody’s gonna fight back and it’s going to get super ugly. I pray that it doesn’t happen”

One statement I can agree with
Two Fairfax County police officers?
Back the blue? How ‘bout they back us?
He had the Pstupid nerve to say that he didn’t blame the agents!! The AGENTS ARE CORRUPT THUGS!!
“He had the Pstupid nerve to say that he didn’t blame the agents!!”
Well, he WAS on Fox. Probably didn’t want to be confronted by Sean Hannity who still believes that 99% of the FBI are honorable people.
(Of course we know that if that were true, they’d be spilling their guts to blow the whistle on TPTB there.)
Vannity is a Tool.
WMWTSS...
So, were they collecting “evidence”? Or destroying evidence?
But he was a Trump appointee, nominated and confirmed as Assistant Attorney General for Environment and Natural Resources in 2017. So there's a fine line between a DOJ employee and a political appointee.
Having said that, this kind of raid is a bit over the line.
(I agree. If I was an FBI agent and asked to raid in force..)
First, I don’t think they were “asked”. They were “ordered” by someone higher up the chain. That’s the person who should be held accountable.
Second, the agents probably have a family to feed and care for.
Just my opinion for whatever it’s worth.
