Two top Pornhub executives have resigned after the adult website company was accused of hosting sexually explicit nonconsensual videos, including ones involving minors, for years.
Pornhub-owner MindGeek said on Tuesday Chief Executive Officer Feras Antoon and Chief Operating Officer David Tassillo have resigned after more than a decade running the adult website company.
'Antoon and Tassillo leave MindGeek's day-to-day operations after more than a decade in leadership positions with the company,' the company said in a statement. 'MindGeek's executive leadership team will run day-to-day operations on an interim basis, with a search underway for replacements.'
News of the executives' exit comes after The New Yorker released a scathing report about the company, claiming that its system failed to address videos depicting underage and non-consenting individuals, including on its Pornhub, Brazzers, RedTube and YouPorn sites.

In theory, everyone is over 18 with ID on file, but (as anyone who was ever a high school student who wanted to get into a bar, and lots of illegal aliens, can testify) getting fake ID is not hard.
Yeah this is true and a flaw in their model. They will get sued into the ground over this..

Realistically, you are not going to stamp out underage porn without 1984-level totalitarian control over the internet, which I think is the real objective here.
What you would need is highly secure digital ID, and a requirement for every upload, posting, or video conference connection.
You could no longer post anonymously on places like FR.
And even then, that would not work.
In this internet age, any teen can have a naked video chat with someone, with the customer paying in bitcoin or cash-bought gift cards.
I agree. We have far more serious issues like sex slavery and child abductions to be concerned with.
In fact, such sites are often used by investigators to find missing children because their abductors post videos of the abducted.
Be glad you are innocent enough to believe that. The are sites in the "dark web" (accessible only visa TOR) that make Pornhub seem like 1930s era Disney on comparison.
A particularly unenjoyable job I had several years ago had me doing some stuff on the dark web from a national security perspective. Not fun...
