I’ll confess, I am completely in the dark (no pun intended) as to why Europe has no, none, zero, nat gas. If they have it and never developed it, then they are blithering fools. But my understanding is that where there is coal, nat gas is also to be found.
I think the way the geology works, natural gas is present in small amounts with coal. Commercial production of natural gas is associated with commercial production of liquid petroleum products, similar techniques and locations.
