There is one very specific detail I’ve wanted to know, but haven’t seen it addressed yet.
And that is, were all these policemen standing around outside the classrooms where the shooter was while he was firing his guns and killing kids?
I’ve seen many references to so many minutes passing, but have not seen in what span of minutes the shooting took place, and where the policemen were during that time.

We know from yesterday’s hearing that the police had an opportunity to take out Ramos in the first three minutes before he was able to enter the classroom.
We also know there may have been up to 100 rounds fired soon after Ramos entered the classroom.
So likely most of the kids and teachers were killed in that initial barrage.
At 11:33 a.m. on May 24, he walked into Robb Elementary’s northwest entrance and headed south toward the two classrooms on the left side, randomly firing shots from his rifle in the hallway.
The gunman fired shots at least three more times — at 11:40 a.m., 11:44 a.m., and 12:21 p.m. — but officers held their positions.
I believe police were waiting at both ends of the hallway.
Let's just assume that given the average shot tempo in a mass shooting, 10 second per victim, that everyone who was shot was shot in the first minute and a half or so.
Ask any shock trauma physician about the golden hour:
The golden hour is the period of time immediately after a traumatic injury during which there is the highest likelihood that prompt medical and surgical treatment will prevent death. While the exact cut off isn't precisely 60 minutes, it is a good approximation of the critical interval.
How long the Uvalde's finest wait before entering?
78 minutes.
Would you think that was a long time for your kid to lay bleeding and in agony while the police and medical care were just outside the door, a door that they claimed was locked, but actually wasn't?
Suppose I'm wrong in my minute and a half duration, suppose it took 18 minutes to shoot 18 people? Suppose you daughter was the last to be mortally wounded. Would having her languish bleeding, in pain and terrified for a full hour be A-OK with you? Would it?
Apparently Uvalde's best trained officers, the "elite" SWAT team, had never ever breached a door in a no-knock drug raid and were udderly (the cows!) unfamiliar with the concept.
