btw, i always first test a link at the “I want to search the archive for saved snapshots” box located in the second part of https://archive.ph/ to see if it’s already been archived ...
just be sure to strip off any part after (and including) “?” if such part exists ... stuff after “?” isn’t part of the base link and is usually just tracking information to tell the server what webpage on the internet was the source of the click on the link ...
