On a personal note, I would recommend to Jim that for a wheelchair cushion he check out the ROHO. His VA doctor can send a request to prosthetics and they will “fit” him for one.
Lightweight air cushion and great for preventing pressure sores.
Your grammar is great and your heart is wonderful. Thank you so much for helping watch over Jim and keeping us posted! Tell him we all continue to pray. And thanks to Chris and John for taking such good care of him!
P.S., One really nice thing about these threads, its been like a big ol’ family reunion. I’ve seen so many great freepers on here that I hadn’t seen in quite a while! Maybe they’ve been here but I just hadn’t seen them. Anyway nice to all be here praying for and cheering Jim on!

Father, Your healing surpasses any physician’s orders. We continue to pray for Jim’s rapid recovery.

All of the things being done for Jim, I would do for a loved one also.
Decubitus can be very serious. The sores can even “tunnel” deep into the flesh.
I’ve seen some awful cases and it takes time to heal.

Good news, Amy, I will continue to pray.
The alternating air pressure mattress is amazing, my FIL is immobile and it has prevented him from getting bedsores. I think it’s pretty comfortable too, I laid down on it to try it out one day and fell asleep 🙂

It has been many years since I have “spoken” on FR—but I am a daily reader and monthly contributor. And I have followed both threads about Jim and heartily agreed with every prayer and good wishes y’all have posted. I want to add my sincere thanks to not only Jim for FR—but to Just Amy, John and Chris for the updates. And of course my huge thanks to our Father in heaven for His care of Jim.
