Because she is ahead comfortably. It was a late endorsement after she had built up a big lead. Trump thinks he can enhance his influence by having a high batting average on endorsing candidates. Although I think Trump was a superb President, this is where I have a problem with him. There are times when he places too much emphasis on himself over the issues.

But also, at the Cullman rally (I did not go, but that is where I live), Mo did not tow Trump’s line on the election being stolen. But Mo is criticizing election integrity now. That incident prompted him pulling his endorsement of Mo in the first place.

Trump was a mixed bag of success and failures, plus bad mouth. I do think he turned out to be a horrible pick of people to bring on his team, and that hurt him badly.

As a king maker, I think the more he wins, and recognize he is not a idealogue, the better. If he'd tackle McConnell and McCarthy and their respective leadership teams, that'll be even better.

Trump in 2024? No, not really. I think DeSantis is proving more reliably successful. Maybe he'll pair up with Noem and present an unbeatable team?

I like Trump as king maker now, even if I disagree with many of his picks.
