“Blah, blah, blah. Hold your nose, and vote for the lesser of two evils. But when it’s all over, you’re still stuck with evil. Republicans love compromising their values.”

Hello from a very similar situation here in Pennsylvania, where we’re stuck with Oz — who makes Katie Britt look like Jesse Helms. (Is that a better or worse image than Britt being “Richard Shelby in drag”).

Both states could have done much better, the major difference is that Britt will actually win in November (Brooks of course would have too).

I'm in New York State. Changed my 40+ voter registration from Republican to No Party early last year. I made a vow to myself at that time, that I would not be casting any ballots in any upcoming elections until Republicans did something to eliminate the voter fraud they sanctioned on January 6th. I can't vote in primaries being in No Party anyway, so it's no big deal. And since I live in NY State, it's not as if my vote counts anyway. Downstate elects our Governors, U.S. Senators, and President. The only election I will ever vote in again, will be if Donald Trump runs for President. In a way, I'm hoping he won't, because I don't see anything being any different next time around. Democrats will still be vindictive, conniving assholes, and Republicans will stab him in the back.

I'm almost 75, and probably won't be around for very many years anyway. I've already outlived the rest of my family. They all smoked. I didn't. Three died of lung cancer. One of a massive heart attack at 51, and my oldest sister of a stroke at 74. She was a life-long alcoholic, and in institutional care for most of her adult life. The only reason she lived that long was because she was institutionalized. I have my own set of health issues that no one else in my family had. Just yesterday I had to go to the ER, because new meds my doctor prescribed (cholesterol, and blood pressure) depleted my sodium badly, and sent my liver and kidney numbers sky high. I'm still feeling crappy, but hoping I can get back on track to attend my great-nephew's high school graduation party the end of the month.
