Actually, it is normal. USA was a historical aberration, destined to fail once it became financially successful and a target for pillage by government.
None of the trite platitudes, like "rule of law" or "equal justiver" or "due process" means what you think it means., It means what the despots in government SAY it means.
They have the power to do whatever they want. Words on paper have no effect.
American exceptionalism has been strangled by its own government. Sad.
It’s not normal since 1940.
Our country has not been this divided that I can remember.. on the contrary.. we have been a proud country.
Look at it this way.. the family has been attacked from government and other lost parts of society. Percentage of kids growing up in a fatherless home..are much higher than when I was a kid. There were no divorced parents on my classes.. today it’s close to half.
Kids are taught rude. Allowed rude.. no soft tongues ..
One of my sons has 2 boys 8 yrs apart.. the oldest is a senior thus fall. He plays basketball.. very good too...his dad is a hands on parent since day 1. He has put love, time, pleasure and discipline into these 2 boys.. and today they are polite, respectful, they know what is allowed and what is not. The oldest is an honor student and full time basketball. The youngest is honor student and was voted by his classmates as most likely be President one day.:)
I was successful with my 5.. but this son has done a super job being a dad.. he has a wife..she loves them.. just not as much fun as Dad.
I say all that to point out most kids don’t get the daily hands on I described. And he takes them to church. They oblige their dad because he puts love in everything..and expectations.
The kids today are free to try.. games and movies not fit.. public schools teaching stuff not connected to learning abs.
Society is a mess.. when Obama came in.. his name didn’t even sound American.. and he declared we are not a Christian nation.. and he apologized for our greatness. He once said how much does a person need.. today he has 5 homes..
He gave permission to rebel against authority if you were of color.. he created rebellion. I was held responsible for my actions .. and your actions become important to You. Today it’s a double standard.
Unequal justice.
What they pronounced and advertised in WWII.. is history... out nation was united then.. it is not now. You can get chewed to pieces on these talk places.. you have to agree with the lost left or get attacked.
There are no limits... and now im Washington they have never been so bold and so ugly snd so blind. I have a son lives in New Jersey..a lawyer for a company. I’m his office..it is assumed you are a liberal.
My son is a conservative. He’s been a lawyer for 35 years.. and heads a compartment.. best to keep opinions that differ.. quiet.
My daughter started a job in radio ..sales.
She said her office is ok. But the clients she calls on are obviously libs. She is political conservative.. why is it the conservative is the one expected to keep quiet.
