I think all professional sports are in for a rude awakening. The business model is not sustainable, which is why they embraced betting, it’s the only thing really keeping it afloat.

Sports are entertainment, when people tire of one form of entertainment, they will change what they support, and the owners will adapt.

Bad owners always lose, regardless of the business.

Pro sports will exist as long as there is a capitalist society, if that ends, the pro sports business model will not be sustainable, but then we will be back to the Christians vs the lions.
