Hmmm. I’d not heard/read about this incident until now.
I’m thinking this was a hostile act and the drones should have been eliminated immediately. Russians and or Chinese would never allow this against one of their ships.
It would be fun in a two seat open cockpit Stearman Bi-Plane. Put a South Louisiana Swamp Rat Cajun in the back with a shotgun and tell him there is “no bag limit” and 100 dollars bounty on each drone.
