The committee is conflating the events at the Capitol with Trump’s opinion about the election, and whether other people agreed with him.

These are very different things.

Hilary Clinton repeatedly said Trump was an “illegitimate” president, and that he knew it. She was totally wrong.

Whether Trump was right about the election is not the same issue as supporting a Capitol incursion.

Wasn’t just Hillary it was the whole Dem Party while Trump was President, the media, other government officials made statements that Hillary was cheated and the election of Trump was corrupt.
