(Jerusalem’s final status,)

Here is Jerusalem’s Final Status:

Zechariah 12:3
King James Version

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Zechariah 14:1-5
King James Version

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

I have a theory on Jerusalem's near future, perhaps as early as late September this year (the beginning of the Jewish year). This is just my theory from reading the Bible on my own, so take it with a grain of salt. It's based on a possible timeline from Daniel 12 and Revelation 11.

AD 688 -- the abomination that caused desolation may have been when the Dome of the Rock was put on the Temple Mount.

AD 1948 -- maybe the 1,260 days in Rev 11:3 is the "time, times and half a time" in Daniel 12:7 (some folks interpret that as 3.5 years, with a "year" being 360 days, and the "days" being years, so it's 1,260 years like Rev 11:3). And Rev 11:6's "power to shut up the heavens so it doesn't rain on the earth" sounds a lot like the "desolation" in Daniel. Plus in history we see that when the Ottoman Empire (a very large empire in history deserving at least some consideration in eschatology, especially if we believe much eschatology centers around the Middle East in general and Jerusalem specifically) took over much of the middle east and Jerusalem (and parts of Europe and North Africa), much of the land was a desert land that had been fairly lush prior to the Muslim invasion. Yet in AD 1948, 1,260 years after AD 688, Israel becomes a nation again and starts changing their ecology to be less desolate. The northern half of Israel may not be as lush as an Alabama forest, but it's lush relative to much of the surrounding middle east. Side note: it's possible that the "two prophets" in Revelation 11 at that point are individual people, but Judaism and Christianity, or perhaps the Roman Empire and Byzantine Empire were brutal to non-Christians around them (after the Roman Empire became Christian). And after AD 300 that area had a lot of desolation climate-wise (shutting off the rains in Rev 11:6). And after the Muslims took over Jerusalem, planting the flag so to speak with the Dome of the Rock in AD 688, the Muslims gloated for a while over the fall of the Christian empires. But in World War I the Christian nations defeated the Ottoman Empire that stupidly joined the war on the Axis side, took over Jerusalem, and gave it back to the Jews in 1948. 1,260 years after the "official" year of the Dome of the Rock.

AD 1978 -- Daniel 12:11 says 1,290 days (or years) for the desolation after the abomination. Perhaps, perhaps, this is the year Israel and Egypt signed a peace deal. Something that was undreamt of in the 1948 war and 1967 war. As much as we complain about Israel not having peace since 1978, an argument could be made that their problems since then are child's play compared to the problems from 1948 to 1978. And before 1948 if you include the centuries of the Jewish dispora.

AD 2023 (since the Jewish New Year starts in September, count it as beginning in fall 2022) -- Daniel 12:12 says blessed are those who reach the end of 1,335 days (perhaps years). If that's 1,335 years after AD 688, then it's AD 2023. Even if I'm right on the years with my theory, don't ask me what the "blessed" is about. I doubt it's Christ's return. The text seems to be centered around Israel or Jerusalem. Maybe it's when Israel fully includes the entire city of Jerusalem. Maybe it's when sacrifices resume. Maybe it's when the Jews go back to praying at the Wailing Wall without care if Muslims are offended (right now Israel forbids Jews from praying there so Muslims aren't offended, except for rare times). Maybe Israel signs a much more affirmative Abraham peace accord with more Muslim nations and enters a true era of peace. Maybe Israel and most of the Muslim nations team up against Iran. Maybe Europe signs energy contracts with Israel and Israel makes bank with their Leviathan supply because Europe finally quit caring if being nice to Israel offends Muslim nations.

I dunno. I'm just watching. LOL
