I still have my old Cuniform tablets! Mostly porn though. I think this one is Ginger Lynnes Anal Adventures, Part 6.

It looks like someone didn’t rewind it…

Biggest technology hurdles have been mechanical components in devices. As we are now in a moving-part-free world we will see stuff lasting much longer without fail — until that first EMP of course. Then we will lube the pulleys and insert the tapes to see anything play !!

AND BEWARE — most unused machines WILL EAT TAPES as they are hungry for anything to be inserted.

That Cuniform character at the upper left translates to:
“Always be kind. Please rewind!”

WalMart has them back. End cap of new releases, but seemed to be for collectors, as most were exclusives with yellow or red or whatever vinyl or some other unique marketing gimmick.

I never had a CED player. A friend did. Aside from occasional skipping they were pretty good. I was a bit envious because they had titles available on CED that were not released on other formats (like Olivier's
Henry V).
I never bought much Star Trek in those days aside from a few VHS tapes, but I have the Original Series, The Next Generation and the theatrical films on Blu-ray and Digital.
