That would help but there should be something that could shift the air pressure in a cushion every hour or however often it needs to shift. That way the pressure on bones would shift. There are massage chairs, can’t the same technology be used for those confined to wheelchairs to move them to relieve the pressure? If there is something already out there we need to find out what it costs and get it for Jim.

They have Jim on an air mattress.

When he is released, He will get one that fits his wheelchair. Jim spends most of the time in his chair. He sleeps in it also.

Yes and there are special beds for pressure sores that gently rock side to side, I hope he is in one now, and it is working properly! I like the idea of a wheelchair with that technology! I’m sure many of us would donate towards that if needed.
