Just spent 2 weeks in Nevada. Not my first time out there.
Why is Federal Gov’t ownership of the land a problem?
And Nevada is just one state. Numerous states have abundant land. Or is that land off limits for some silly reason, like frogs?

Go out there and claim a few acres, build yourself a home and find out.

Remember, my contention was all the best, most desirable, habitable areas are mostly taken, spoken for and or owned by someone else, or government etc. Look at the CA central coast for example. Tens of thousands of desirable acres but most all of it is hands off because it's pristine and they don't want people on it.
