The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested former White House economic adviser Peter Navarro on Friday, acting on a referral from the Democrat-run House that held him in contempt for refusing to testify at the partisan January 6 Committee.

Unfortunately the only ones with a plan seem to be the marxists.
What are we patriots going to do should the Republicans lose the house this coming midterm? Just curious:)
My guess is “Not a damn thing!”
I suppose a better question is, “What are conservatives going to do if Republicans do win the House this mid-term election?”
Again, my guess is “Not a damn thing!”
I would go to the cmte and just repeat the Hillary responses. “I do not recall” and “At this point what difference does it make”?
May God have mercy!
Amen
That would be a Go Sign.
And we can forget the cartridge box.
J6 was a setup by the Dems and their paramilitary thugs. The FBI and DOJ have become highly politicized and partisan. The treatment of the J6 prisoners is one of the darkest periods in American history. The GOP and their voters have remained largely silent about this gross abuse of civil liberties. Sad and inexcusable.
Kennedy started it when he let the staff unionize. Republican comes to town and has the same staff the outgoing dem had, how cool is that?
“Congress referred it to DOJ which does have executive powers to execute an arrest, albeit in this case these powers are being abused.”
Isn’t it the situation really that Congress refers a refusal to obey a subpoena to the justice department, who then ask the judge involved to hold a show-cause hearing to see if the refuser is to be held in contempt of court and fined/jailed for that, or if a bench warrant instead is to be issued to detain the refuser and physically bring him to court (or to jail, until he agrees to appear in court)??? The refuser has the opportunity to appear at the show-cause contempt hearing and confront his accusers and make his defense. So how can the Justice Dept. (via FBI) simply arrest him, as if he’s already been judged guilty by the LEGISLATIVE body??? Something is not right here.
Anyone???
If you can ask a stupid question in the guise of some stupid movie script, then I say yes.
Nobody is pressed yet.
See my post # 89 on this thread.
I read your link (2 U.S. Code § 192 - Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers). Thanks for that. Looks like, for those Congress “deems” “guilty” of the violation, the punishment is $100-$1,000 and 1-12 months in jail, and that this occurs through a referral to the “appropriate” US Attorney who decides whether to call a Grand Jury for the alleged illegal action, and if the Grand Jury indicts, then the arrest and prosecution can go forward. Note that with a Grand Jury, no defense is permitted; it’s all one-sided on behalf of the Prosecution.
Well then. We'll all end up in the pine box.
“I’m not expecting any relief at the ballot box.”
Neither am I.
There is only one box left for us to use, unfortunately too many on our side are too scared to do anything.
Untrue. I am totally willing to use the cereal box.
Looks like we will all sit down like Canada and take it
“Untrue. I am totally willing to use the cereal box.”
Cereal boxes contain fruits, nuts and flakes.
5.56mm
I'm talking cereal boxes, not California.
Look. Let's be real.
Those that act, do not talk. Those that talk, do not act.
