You are probably right.

Lots of bars along on Fourth and on Broadway from Downtown to about Redondo. My favorite was Karl's Little Bavaria, which was in walking distance from my apartment.

Things have changed a lot as there use to be maybe 2-4 gay or lesbian bars, now I think they are all gay, including Karl's
