Rep. Mace Leads Katie Arrington In Trafalgar Poll (if this is your district vote for Arrington!)

Rep. Nancy Mace (R) topped Trump-endorsed Katie Arrington (R) for South Carolina’s First Congressional District by 6 percent. In a Trafalgar survey from May 26 to May 29, about 46 percent of Republican voters said they would vote for Mace.

These numbers represent GOP primary voters in the First District, which includes Charleston, Beaufort, Bluffton and other parts of the picturesque Palmetto Lowcountry.

On Monday night, Mace and Arrington faced off on offshore drilling, the issue that was a hallmark of Arrington’s losing 2018 bid, during which she argued both in favor of and against the practice.

Trump needs to pay a visit to the Palmetto State. Mace needs to go.

Keep hammering on the perfidy of Rep. Mace, and ask, are you better off, or worse, today without Trump?

Who loves ya, baby?

Which, coincidentally, is Trump’s birthday.

The ad targeting Mace’s support of trans athletes in women’s sports should get $1 million backing behind it. Devastating

Open primary?

Found this …. Appears they DO. :-(

As South Carolina does not provide for registration by party, primaries in the state are open, meaning any voter can participate in any one party’s primary.

The state has been flooded with liberal yankees in the past few years. Ditto NC, too.

Yup. I had a business acquaintance from NYC who had a place in HIlton Head. Said he voted in the Republican primaries for the most liberal candidate. The Dem primaries always produced candidates he liked.

Not sure, but the repugnant Nikki Haley has:

“The state has been flooded with liberal yankees in the past few years”

Especially the Charleston area (Mace’s district).

The Myrtle Beach area is the best in the state — best in terms of being, for now, the largest reliably Republican area. But the growth rate there is astronomical. When something inside a body grows astronomically it’s called “cancer”, and the same applies to demographics. An area becomes nice because the people there make it that way, which unfortunately attracts undesirables who invade and ruin it.

That is what’s turned Charleston red (proper color usage) and although Myrtle Beach is still good for now it might start heading back the wrong way electorally sooner than people may think. South Carolina is a good bet to become “the next Georgia” as far as being what people mistakenly thought was a permanently safe and solid Republican state even when it was only about 55% to 45% in their favor.

i;m not in that district but sent money to Arrington.
this likely to go to a runoff if the dem crossover don’t swamp us. Open primaries stink.

Agreed. Northerners are moving to Charleston in droves which has caused real estate in Charleston to double and triple in price. Believe me, these Yankees are not going to vote Red. They will change the demographics significantly and it will be Blue soon.

I moved to Bluffton this year. It’s deep red but mostly country club types. Not exactly working class Trump country.
