The more that comes out about the botched police response in Uvalde, Texas, the worse it looks for the local cops. It turns out that while UPD officers waited for a key or some such nonsense, an off-duty Border Patrol tactical agent drove 40 miles from having lunch to storm the school and neutralize the social misfit killer.

Not only did the Border Patrol agent not get to finish his lunch, he needed staples to close a grazing bullet wound to his head.

We need to come up with an “InstaBounty” system to reward heroes like this Bortac guy, or a mother with a gun, who takes down a miscreant school shooter. I would think $100,000 would be about right. Local cops, too, would be emboldened by the prospect of a quick 100 grand. They don’t make lots of money.

Gov. Abbott was “livid” that there were LEOs “misinforming” him.

Has he been “livid” about the invasion at his state’s southern border?

Amazing...He rode to the sound of the guns...as opposed to others who froze at the sound of the guns.

The perimeter PoPo shoulda given their body armor and gunz to the paris and grandparis.

There should be a law that if the police are afraid to go in, they must giver their equipment to parents and grandparents. And their badges. Instant deputization.
