Yep. A friend of mine owned several civil war vintage ones, including a mint condition french Napoleon. He owned em more as a financial investments, than for actual firing...LOL.
He did fire one of the civil war ones for us one day, but he only did it with a 1/2 charge. That thing was quite impressive...even with only a 1/2 charge. It’s hard to image a whole row of em all going off at full charge. It had to be something to behold....literally deafening.
Yep. Go to a gun show and you can buy anything semi-automatic. Even 30 caliber belt fed machine guns (30 cal and 50 cal). Cash is king there.
