Nope...we should make mandatory firearm training for ALL teachers OR allow retired grandparents or parents with days off to patrol the school ARMED. Israel does this.

Several BP agents had kids in that school. That town is full of BP agents because it’s one of the nicer towns to live in near the two main BP stations in the area. There, I saved you having to read the article.
Tucker had a good report on it last night. Lots of unanswered questions about why cops were waiting. Kid was shooting at a funeral home first, 12 minutes before the school, and they didn’t stop him.

Not sure if this was posted: FOX reporter says the shooter was arrested 4 years ago for saying he was going to shoot up a school during his senior year. I’d say that’s a Red Flag. Too many of these shooters just fall thru the cracks.
A teacher texted her husband, a Border Patrol Agent, to come help since the police weren’t doing anything. The news should read the news.
I don’t know what he is talking about, I have never heard of such a thing. Maybe years ago they were, but I have been in almost 15 years and since I have been in no such thing as cross certified has existed.

Schools in this district have been into lockdowns 48 times this year so far, to control illegals running thru campus.
So, instead of securing the campus full time the district offloads their emergency support to a federal agency. Brilliant!
And. please, spare me the crappola about how much they spend on police depts. You can secure a campus by allowing teachers to carry. Costs pennies. All my relatives in Tx carry. How is a kid to know if he is gonna be shot in the back if he pulls a gun on other kids? He can’t. So, he goes to an unsecured target.

You are absolutely correct. All the police haters are crawling out from under their rocks.
I have been to a few Israeli schools and was told that all of the teachers are carrying (by direction), and in addition, the ones that I have seen always have an armed guard at the entrance point (or any entry points). Seems to work as well as can be expected. They are considered HARD targets in Israel.
What is “LW”?
Definitely not all Israeli teachers are armed, but a lot are, and are screened for health and psychology as well as thoroughly trained on arms. Almost all schools have armed security as well.
The schools that I observed all had armed security at the entry points. As to how many teachers were armed, I have heard that most are, but that is just hearsay. I do know that it is imposing to see the arms at the controlled entrances, and it would give pause to any terrorists that are looking for targets.
Had a kid in the school and was getting a hair cut near by. I heard his wife was teaching in the school and texted him.
