So many “news” outlets are just trash and it is only going to get worse.
The entire “white supremacist” trope is 100% gaslighting. But the FBI still claims they are the #1 “threat”, even if they aren’t acting out violently. “White supremacists” are like the Great Pumpkin of domestic terror. You just wait!

That's a reasonable defense, however you don't get to choose whether or how the FBI or other enforcers choose to label, pigeonhole and view you.
Probably, but a tiny, tiny number. The majority of them are probably confidential informants or undercover law enforcement.
Keep in mind that most “white supremacist violence” originates with the FBI, directly or indirectly.
