During the surrender of the garrison, it was revealed that the wounded were treated without anesthetics and that limbs were amputated due to lack of medical care.

So, rather than being concerned about the wounded, those in charge decided to remain rather than get them proper care. They could have brought them out under a flag of truce for medical care, but they did not.

War is a terrible thing, but who is unprofessional and undisciplined?

I’ll live that answer up to others. But I can answer this, who is evil? It’s the person who started this bloody war. It’s Putin.

I say that with no joy. Before the invasion I was quite sympathetic to Russian concerns over NATO’s expansion. But that sympathy disappeared the instant Putin crossed an international border and started killing people.

Side note: By his very actions, Putin is a war criminal. And the same goes with George W. Bush regarding Iraq. War criminals come in many flavors.

Well, using that logic, the Ukrainians could have saved every dead or wounded Ukrainian by surrendering on February 24th.

AND, a lot of the invading Russians would still be alive.
