Shocking new video has emerged showing Texas cops restraining parents as they tried to rescue their kids on Tuesday after a gunman unleashed terror inside the elementary school, as questions grow over why it took so long to get to the shooter after the first 911 call.
Salvador Ramos, 18, arrived at the school in Uvalde at 11.30am, crashing his car into a ditch.
A school resource officer was at the scene but he failed to stop him from making his way inside.
Two other cops also rushed to the school at that time - Ramos had just shot his grandmother in the face at their home less than five miles away. She survived and called the police.
When they arrived, Ramos is said to have shot at them then ran into the school, where he barricaded himself in the fourth grade classroom and shot 19 kids and two teachers dead.
It took another 90 minutes from that point for police to declare the shooting over.
Now, sources say police were struggling to get into the classroom and needed a key to open the door.
Eventually, a border patrol agent was able to get inside and the shooting was declared over at 1.06pm.
But it questions remain over why it took police so long to get into the classroom where the kids were trapped with the gunman.
One child told KENS 5 that he was able to hide under a desk, but that a girl who yelled out 'help' when police arrived was executed.

No, I think the LEOs on the scene should have gone in and done their jobs. That’s what they signed up for.
This was a Deep State MK-Ultra killer the government groomed and set up the kill to do the gun grab. When you realize there’s nothing they won’t do for power and control - steal elections, murder babies, etc. - then you have to realize NOTHING is random or by mistake.
According to Dr. Clarissa Cole, fully half the people she FAILED on their pre-employment psych evals were hired as cops and prison guards.
She said “No, no, no, he has really strong sadistic tendencies and fantasies of rape and murder, you really shouldn’t hire him” and they would.
No they haven’t been vilified enough if this is true.
Enough is when every one of them looks in the mirror and self terminates out of shame.
So you are positive that no police were inside, right? You know that how?

What if the parent had a gun and wanted to try to save his child? Should he be stopped from doing so?

And the backup just calls for more backup. This continues until the perpetrator runs out of rounds and the police can safely seize the day and walk in to handcuff the perp.

That’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen. What were these cops thinking? I agree with the quote of the guy who said the parents should just rush in. These poor parents are going to hate themselves forever for not doing so. Horrible.

And you think that mother does NOT have the God given right to try to save her child? Who are the police to stand between parents and their ability to protect their children in any and all ways possible?
No, you are wrong, dead wrong. If the police are not going to go in IMMEDIATELY, then they must stand down and allow those with enough heart go in.
