So, was the hero who killed the guy so off duty guy who just showed up or part of the SWAT team that finally showed up? Sounds like the latter.

He was from a tactical Unit specially used for situations as this shooting. Dressed to the hilt to handle someone using AR 15's.

The hero that shot the guy was reportedly a Border Patrol agent, so that probably means he was part of the Border Patrol guys who decided to buck the police head honcho’s orders and go in.
