You would have preferred Ukraine surrender and give up its sovereignty to Russian interests.
I would have preferred Russia never invaded in the first place. And don’t give me that BS that Russia just wanted to rescue the Russian citizens in the Donbas (had that been their intent, those citizens could have simply gone across the border to Russia, where they are citizens). Had that been Russia’s goal it would not have demanded the complete demilitarization of Ukraine.
So, who is the warmonger? Me, whose preference is that no invasion had taken place in the first place? Or, you, who demands Ukrainian surrender to Russia, or face the Wrath of Vlad for failing to do so?
It’s kind of like an armed robbery. You’re walking down the street and some loutish brute sticks a gun to your head and says, “Your money or your life!” You, you would have given the perp everything you had on you and hoped he wouldn’t shoot you for kicks (which is what you have demanded of Ukraine). If it was me, though, I’d prefer that I had called a cab instead of walking home (no confrontation to begin with).
It was their choice to listen to the Neocons, and now they’re paying the price.
